Before I start describing one of the valuable projects that the Center for Nonprofit Management is in the process of completing this summer, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Wilson and I am serving as the CNM Program Intern this summer. I am currently a junior Mathematics major at Stonehill and I am more than excited to enhance my knowledge of this region’s nonprofit sector through my work with CNM!
For the past few weeks, I have been fully exposed to the inner workings of CNM. One of our main tasks this summer involves the implementation of the 2013 Needs Assessment Survey, which has proven to be one of my favorite undertakings so far! As the title suggests, this 10-minute survey, hosted by SurveyGizmo, asks the executive directors of area nonprofits to express their greatest needs and challenges. The results of this survey will allow CNM to further improve its programs and services in order to provide more effective support for nonprofits.
CNM launched the survey on July 3rd and has asked for all responses to be completed by July 31st. Soon after, CNM will evaluate the responses and create a summary report to distribute to the region’s nonprofits that took the time to complete the survey. Needless to say, we are more than anxious to review the feedback and opinions from our valued nonprofits!
I look forward to writing again, hopefully with some new insight from the results of this survey!
