Interested in Internships!?

If you are looking for an internship opportunity, CNM has several to offer for students of all majors! CNM is dedicated to providing students who have a passion for nonprofits with an internship experience that matches their qualifications and interests. If you are a student interested in assisting CNM with daily operations, along with delivery and analysis of our programs and services then the Program Intern position is meant for you! The Program Intern is typically someone who is detail orientated, analytical, organized and especially excited about learning the basics of running a nonprofit. This position is a great opportunity to become exposed to the many surfaces of the nonprofit sector.

The Marketing/Communications & Social Media Intern position is for a student with a passion for marketing, communications and outreach as well as an interest in developing content and growing audiences through social media channels. Through this internship, you will be given the opportunity to research and develop content for a variety of social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook. You will also have a hands-on role with CNM’s print, email and web media including press releases, blog posts and flyers.

For those looking to learn more about the field of nonprofit management by working directly with nonprofit clients, the Resource Room Intern position is an excellent opportunity. CNM’s staff will train you on how to obtain grant and peer research for local nonprofits seeking your help! You will learn to become familiar with research programs such as Foundation Directory Online and Guidestar, qualifying you to conduct Resource Room Appointments. Resource Room Interns will conduct research, perform data entry, and maintain the Resource Room records and materials as needed. This is a great opportunity for those truly interested in learning more about the field of nonprofit management.

These internships are available to provide you with a better insight on the inner workings of the nonprofit sector. You will gain real life experience and knowledge, preparing you for future careers.
