A Day in the Life Series: New York Experience By: Samantha Lynott ’12

This semester I was fortunate enough to receive an internship with the St. Barnabas Children’s Advocacy Center in the Bronx, New York City. The CAC provides aid for children who have experienced sexual and/or physical abuse. When abuse is suspected, the CAC attempts to identify evidence through forensic interviews, medical examinations, and also tries to create a safer home environment for children. This is accomplished by removing abusers from... Read More

Second Journal of A Day in the Life Series: New York Experience By: Samantha Lynott ’12

At the same time, the number of children referred to our Center increased immensely, a result... Read More

A Day in the Life Series: Washington D.C. Experience By: Matt Marotta ’11

The Washington Experience is one of the many opportunities offered by Stonehill College. A student is given the chance to live and work in this amazing city for a semester of their college career. During my time working in this busy city, I had the opportunity to participate in many different activities that I would not have been able to outside of DC.  Having the ability to see famous historical monuments, access to the Smithsonian Museums... Read More
