One More Round: WELCOME BACK!

Wow.  I can’t believe I’m going into my senior year! Seriously, time goes by so fast.

Welcome back everyone, and for those of you who are new to campus, Welcome to Stonehill!

The academic year just started this past Wednesday, and already, here’s what’s been happening on campus:

  • Raining Jane returned to Stonehill, putting on a great performance in the Hill.  My housemate, and one of my best friends, Chris Borelli, was the opener of the night.  Click this link to check out some of his music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XzGyPiwpk0
  • SGA had our annual Activities Fair on the quad, where over 80 organizations and clubs gathered to get interest from the student body.
  • This weekend, we kicked off Welcome Back week with a Commons Open-House on Sat., featuring salsa dancing, Think Fast trivia, and a mentalist, who was awesome.  On Sunday, SGA Programming Committee showcased the movie “Bridesmaids” out on the quad through their big balloon screen!

First Years have all moved in, and it seems like they are having a great first week of school, which is so good to see.  It’s a different feel now, being a senior, it’s almost like all eyes are on us again, about what we’re doing now, and what we plan to do in the future.  Their are  lots of events specifically for seniors, which I’m pumped to be a part of this year.

UPDATES:

1. I’m growing my hair out, which I haven’t done in 4 YEARS!!! (long story)

2. The Northbridge Companies could potentially be my future, so stay tuned for that.

3. Aenigma is BACK. Be on the look out for updates on us.

Until next time,

Peace and Love.

Summer, Summer, Summer TIME!

GUESS WHO’s BACK, BACK AGAIN…RANDY’S BACK….TELL A FRIEND!

Hello everyone!  It has been way to long since we last spoke, and I gotta tell ya, there has been A-LOT that has happened within the past few months.  What a difference a little time makes in someones life.  I’m currently going through many different emotions, with senior year coming up (yikes!), and doing my internship all summer, to orientation this past June.  I don’t want this post to be looongggg and drawn out, so I’ll keep it concise and to-the-point.  Here we go:

Summer Orientation 2011:  All great things must come to an end, right? WRONG! This year’s orientation was by-far the best orientation I have ever been a part of.  The Peer Mentor team, my group (GROUP 20!), and just the entire experience was one I’ll never forget.  This year, I was partners with my good friend, and junior Lauren Melaugh, and we were the Peer Mentors for Group 20:  The Moon Bouncin’, Star Hopin’, Time Travelin’ Space Cowboys.  All of the students were wonderful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to conclude my last summer orientation of my college career.  Wow: I am so rude, my apologies.  For those of you who may not be familiar with orientation, let me explain what it entails.  Summer Orientation is for first-year students and transfers, and they go through various acitivites and programs throughout a 2 day session:  group time games, speakers, lectures, breakfast/lunch/dinner, nighttime activities, playfair (which is one of the greatest activities ever created), and a closing ceremony.  Orientation, for some students, is a make or break for them in terms of going to Stonehill vs. not going to Stonehill.  By the reaction of the class of 2015 on the Facebook group (which any of you are invited to join), they all seemed to have had an amazing time!

By the way:  Here’s the link to all of the Peer Mentors doing Beyonce’s “Move Your Body” dance (which I taught them in 1 hour) – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQG906sZBbw

Internship: The Northbridge Companies
If there is one thing I would advise EVERYONE to do during your time at Stonehill or any other college, besides study abroad….do an internship.  Currently, I am interning for a company called The Northbridge Companies, who specialize in senior living.  Primarily, they work in the field of assisted living and memory care.  It’s funny how small this world really is because, the CEO of the company and his wife are actually alumni of Stonehill.  Also, the Vice-President of Operations for the entire organization is cousins with our very own Shane LaPrade, who works in marketing for admissions at Stonehill.  So, Northbridge is the corporate office (which I work in), and they oversee 4 (soon to be 5) facilities in Plymouth, Needham, Dartmouth, and Tewksbury (with one currently being developed in Burlington).  My internship is no normal internship.  I like to think that it’s actually better than a normal internship.  For the first half of the summer, I went to 3 of the 4 current facilities, shadowing different departments of each facility, including nurses aides, nurses, maintenance, housekeeping, Residence Care Directors, marketing office, and the Executive Directors.  The second half of the internship, which is what I’m doing right now, involves working side by side  with Shawn Bertram, the Director of Operations, and Sharon Ricardi, the Vice-President of Operations.  I am doing several key projects with them, that will effect the entire organization and the communities.  So far, it has been an amazing experience, and Northbridge is a phenomenal organization to work for.  I could probably go on an on about Northbridge, but I’ll save that for another day.

A few personal updates:

1.) My favorite summer songs are “Dirty Dancer” by Enrique Iglesias (feat. Usher and Lil Wayne), and “Don’t Wanna Go Home” by Jason Derulo

2.) I’ve managed to crash my car (on accident) and get a new one in less than a week and a half

3.) I haven’t gone to the beach yet….ugh.

Until next time:

PeaceandLove.

Glimpse of My Semester: H.O.P.E, Student Government, Spring Weekend and DiverCity

It’s been a crazy semester, and things are happening faster than I can blink.  Instead of trying to write this novel about my semester thus far, I’ve decided to break down some major events one by one, so you can get a glimpse of what my year has been like.  Here we go:

H.O.P.E. West Virginia (Lantz Farm) – If you guys remember in previous blogs, I had mentioned about my alternative spring break experience, HOPE WV.  From March 12th – 20th, 16 students, 2 student leaders, and 2 staff leaders embarked on a 14-hour journey to Wheeling/Lantz Farm, West Virginia.  The road trip was a lot of fun; I had never driven for that long in my life, so it was interesting.  The entire week was amazing.  Lantz Farm, where we stayed, was absolutely beautiful.  It was right in the mountains, and we had the entire three-story house and open fields to ourselves…it really felt like home.  The people we met were some of the most interesting and kind individuals I had ever met.  Working with Wheeling Jesuit University was great as well (kudos to Beth and MaryEllen).  The work we did included helping at a special soup kitchen called “Open Door,” cleaned up a dog park (shout out to Chuck!), cleaned up a garden, worked with small children in at the Head Start program, moved a huge shed, worked at a Fish Fry, helped renovate Lincoln Theater, just to name a few.   The relationships we developed while over there are ones we will never forget.  One of the couples we met there, Mary and Herb, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! It was really something special.  One of workers we met, Chuck, is that guy you would want as like a grandfather or something.  He has the kindest heart, is very knowledgeable, and could talk for hours.  While I was helping clean the dog park, my necklace broke, and I lost my mothers gold ring.  Chuck spent a majority of the time helping me find the ring, and even had one of his friends bring a metal detector just in case.  He’s a wonderful person.  Our group (Lantz Farm) became so close while on the trip, and this typically happens on a HOPE trip, but this trip, a family was truly established.  We would have family dinner every night, and then play the game Mafia for hours (if you haven’t played mafia, you gotta try it).  The experience was one that will stay with me for years to come!

H.O.P.E. West Virginia: Lantz Farm! (post Fish Fry)

Student Government Association Elections: Well, as I type this blog, I also hold the position as the NEW Vice President for SGA for the new year coming up.  I can not express how much of an honor it is to hold this position, a position I believe that I am ready for.  After serving on my class committee for the past 2 years (as VP and President), I felt as though I could do more within SGA.  So, I decided to go for the big leagues: executive board of SGA.  I can’t for the new year to come!

Spring Weekend 2011: If some of you don’t know, Spring Weekend is coming up!  Don’t know what Spring Weekend is?  Well, it is a 3 to 4 day long event, consisting of a carnival, a dance, a concert, and a festival.  DiverCity is on Thursday, followed by the concert on Friday (which I will assist Rex Macapinlac and a few others to open for Matt & Kim / K’naan).  Saturday is the carnival out on Duffy parking lot, and the dance is held that night.  It’s one of those weekends where the campus is totally laid back, ready to have fun, and the atmosphere is amazing.

DiverCity: This cultural festival is one of the favorite events of the entire year.  It is an event that brings so much culture to the campus, and exposes the students to the outside world.  I’ve had the pleasure of being in DiverCity for the past 3 years, and each year, it gets bigger and bigger.  This year, I’ll be performing a bollywood dance with 6 of my classmates.  The dance looks amazing, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!  At the festival, there is international food, salsa dancing, rap, krumping, poetry, social awareness, among other things.  Like I said, I can’t wait :)

Internship?: The reason why I put a question mark next to internship is because right now, I am in the process of working with James Coughlin, CEO of Northbridge Companies (who work in the field of senior living facilities) to create an internship opportunity for myself and for future Healthcare majors/minors.  One thing I do want to mention is this: Stonehill has an amazing network of internship opportunities and work placement for students on campus.  However, if you have the ability to think outside the box, and create your own internship opportunity, which in-turn would open the door for future students, I’d advise you to take that route.  It not only looks better on your resume, but you will receive great recognition and references from those you work with.  This is what I’m trying to do now.  Mr. Coughlin is a Stonehill alum so maybe this is a perfect marriage between Northbridge and Stonehill.  I’ll keep you posted on what happens.

And now for some other random updates:

1. Seven Straight to Heaven video segment is coming.  Stay Tuned for that.

2. My birthday is coming up on May 1st, so if you would like to send me a present, here’s my email: randyjose2012@yahoo.com

3. I’m going to see Usher on May 5th.  Enough said…..no but seriously I’m wicked excited about it! He is probably my favorite artist of all time.

That’s it for now… Until Next time……

Peace and Love

OH, AND WE’RE GETTING AN ICE SKATING RINK……just sayin’

Enjoy this tune from my main man USHER: Usher – U Don’t Have To Call

Internships, Resumes, Interviews…Oh My!

As the title states, I am in the midst of completing my resume (that I have started since freshman year), setting up interviews, and begin a search for the right internship in the healthcare field. As a junior, I think it’s perfectly n0rmal to be scared and worried about the future, one reason being that it is so unpredictable.  Also, I want the healthcare organizations to view me as a possible top candidate for their company.  I strive to perfection to the best of my ability, and I hope they can see that.

If there is any word of advice I can give to those who read this and are approaching their junior year, or just starting their college career…START LOOKING EARLY! START PREPARING EARLY! You don’t have to be completely ready to go out and get a job, but at least have a good foundation or status to begin looking for your place once you leave here.  The career services at Stonehill are awesome.  If there is one sector of our campus that I feel is very underrated, or at least doesn’t get the proper exposure that they should get, it is career services.  Now we see their e-mails all the time, which are great.  However, a lot of people on campus have yet to go to career services and utilize their resources to their advantage (unless they are studying abroad or doing an internship).  Nonetheless, starting my journey now, in my spring semester of my junior year, still allows me to have time to look for an internship and go through the proper channels.  However, if I had the opportunity to start earlier in my career, knowing what I know now, I would have.

Few Updates:

  • March 25th @ 7, Class of 2012 Committee will be having our annual “Fashion For Life,” donating proceeds to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
  • Seven Straight to Heaven will be making their debut in 2 weeks!
  • H.O.P.E. is quickly approaching! March 12th is when we will embark on our journey’s…so exciting!
  • I am a Peer Mentor for the 3rd year in a row, and I couldn’t be happier.  It’s a honor to be back on the team for my final year.
  • I want to audition for “So You Think You Can Dance” again this year…do you think I should?

Until Next Time…

Peace and Love.

And…We’re Back!

Hello fellow followers,

First things first, I APOLOGIZE for not writing to you sooner.  I’ve been very busy this semester, and have been waiting for the right time to give you all updates and such.  Let’s get logistics out of the way:

  • the class of 2012 is working to get our annual fashion show under way (however we are in the midst of a crisis with booking a venue for the event, so I’ll keep you posted)
  • H.O.P.E. is going great! We’ve had a few meetings already with the entire program (including the first meeting of the year that Erik, Tom, and myself ran [H.O.P.E. Fashion Show], and I am really excited to be a part of the West Virginia trip (leading one of the groups to Lantz Farm).
  • Everything in terms of academics is going great as well.  My African Music class is VERY interesting…from learning how to play the djembe drum (yes I can play this drum), to learning about how certain musical concepts made their way to the west.  It’s so fascinating to see just how much African music has influenced music all around the world.  I am also taking a class called Experience of the Narrative, which has allowed my classmates and I to open our imagination and write/reflect our own opinions about certain articles and interviews we’ve read, eventually producing a project about our own life, in our own way.  It should be very interesting towards the end of the semester.  In terms of my 3 healthcare courses, I am enjoying them so much.  The courses  are Continuum of Long Term Healthcare, Health Communication, and Healthcare Employment Law.  It’s amazing to me every time I’m in class, just how much healthcare plays a role in our lives.  This is probably why I’m in the field now.
  • Devin and I DJ’d  the first rave of the year entitled: El Fuego Del RAVE! It was a HUUUGE success, probably the best rave the RAVEn’s Nest has had in a while, if not ever.

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but January was the month of snow storms, and, we got hit pretty hard here at Stonehill.  So hard in fact, that the roof of our Sports Complex was damaged, and the field house is now closed because of it.  Fortunately, no one has been hurt as a result of the storms, and everybody has been very accommodating and understanding of the circumstances that we’ve been put into.  This community has really stuck together, in efforts to continue our everyday lives as if nothing had even happened.

BIG MINDFUL LIVING UPDATE: The returners have been meeting every Sunday since we’ve been back to discuss next year’s community.  As of yesterday, the returners have:

  1. Filled the two new houses for next year (Plymouth and Orleans in the Commonwealth Courts)
  2. Updated the committees within the mission statement
  3. Established new goals for next year

I am very excited for next year, to be a part of the community for the last time, living in Orleans with a great group of people.  I do want to take time to give credit where credit is due.  To Hailey, Greg, Michael, Kayla, Alex, Kalee, Mike Cotrone, Erin, and Carola… It has been such a pleasure to work with these returners, and they put a lot more time into this process than I did, so for that, I thank them.

-Did I mention that 6 of us did present at the Board of Trustees meeting a few days before school began in January, and we will be in contact with some of the trustees, working with them to hopefully establish some sort of funding for the community? Very Exciting.

Coming Up: Seven Straight to Heaven video post.  Aenigma making their debut.  Dance show/21st Birthday/Rave all in a span of two weeks.

Until Next Time…

Peace and Love.

Welcome 2011: It’s a New Day!

Hello my fellow followers (or lack there of haha),

First of all, Happy New Year! I hope the holidays and break was a tremendous one.  Secondly, I wanted to begin this year with a new post that will set the stage for what is to expect from me this coming semester.

Last semester was one heck of a start to Junior year.  I was introduced as the President of my class, Mr. Stonehill was a huge success.  I was a new student ambassador, and H.O.P.E. student leader.  The experiences that I’ve had thus far in the Mindful Living Community were nothing short of awesome.  I’ve met some amazing people along the way, and have created new relationships with those people.  I began to embark on the health care administration major path, and I am so glad I did.  I ended last semester with the best GPA I’ve had since coming to Stonehill, and I couldn’t be happier!

That was then, this…is now!  This spring semester is a whole new ballgame.  People are returning from abroad, I’m taking new classes (one of them being my African Music class, which I’m psyched about), and I continue with Student Ambassador, President of 2012, and H.O.P.E.  Speaking of H.O.P.E., I, along with 2 other leaders, will be leading the first meeting of 2011 for H.O.P.E.  It should be very interesting ;) We have 3 great events coming up from the class of 2012 (including our annual fashion show).

As I set the stage for what will be a “roller-coaster” ride of a semester, I can’t wait to share the new experiences yet to come with you.  It going to be interesting, I can guarantee you that.

One thing’s for sure…you’ll never know what you’re going to get in this life.

Until Next Time…

Peace and Love.

The “Finals” Countdown.

So here’s the deal: We (at Stonehill) are in the midst of finals week (or as some people like to call it, “hell week”), so I do apologize in advance if this post is a little shorter than usual.

I gotta tell ya, this semester has flew by, I almost wonder where it all went.  I’ve said this before, but junior year is a really unique time, when some friends go abroad, meeting new people, taking on new leadership roles, and trying things that you never would do in a million years.

This semester has been a whirlwind of adventure. Mindful Living has been amazing; from the coffeehouses, to the guest speakers, to the committees and the RAVEn’s Nest, it really is a community of love, family, and good times.  I’ve gotten to help DJ a couple of nights at Owen O’Leary’s, helped DJ midnight madness, performed a duet with Michelle, co-found a new dance crew on campus (which by the way I will have updates of soon), won Best Talent and People’s Choice at Mr. Stonehill, and so much more.  It’s sad that it’s coming to a close, but I also think everybody needs a little break, re-focus and re-energize for the new year.

As far as classes go, I completed my intro to Gerontology project (Dance therapy and Aging), and currently I am finishing up my Ten Commandments final paper, as well as fine tuning my Computer Concepts in Health Care project.  The campus is scrambling with people getting those last minute pages done, or putting in those last slides in their powerpoint presentation before tomorrow (Last day of classes!).

Although finals are a stressful time, I’ve noticed that the students here really put their heart into the last stretch of assignments lurking over their shoulder.  I invite anybody to come to campus at night; go into the library, or stanger, or the science center.  The campus becomes a ghost town.  Students look for any place to study that’s NOT their room (most of the time), going as far as using the commons as a place to study.

Just a few updates:

1.) Carola Melendez and myself put on a Salsa program in New Hall, which consisted of teaching the basics of salsa dance, and I just got word from our friend Chrissy that the program won best program in New Hall!

2.) Aenigma is coming soon…stay tuned.

3.) I recently took a trip to RWU to visit my best friend Danny, seeing where he lives on campus, meeting the boys of 303, and partaking in “Randy’s Classy Christmas Party.”                        Enough said.

4.) I still haven’t gone Christmas shopping.   woops.

5.) My friend Casey hurt her left quad while “stanky legging” on a desk.

6.) If you haven’t checked out Liz Gordon’s post on how all of student bloggers in admissions know each other, check it out, it’s pretty impressive.

Again, I’m sorry this post is short, but, it is the “Finals” countdown :)

Until next time…

Peace and Love

p.s. want some music to chill out to, listen to this (courtesy of Martin Earley): “California”

We’re Winding Down…

Hello to all!  First things first, I hope everybody had a fantastic Thanksgiving (and you ate your faces off :)

What a crazy few weeks it’s been.  As of right now, I am rehearsing for the Dance Club show this weekend, getting things rolling with H.O.P.E. West Virginia (alongside my partners Deanna and Deirdre), and focusing on finals.  There have been a few things that lately I’ve been thinking about, that I’d like to share with you at this time.

Junior year is a very unique year.  You’ve already been through the first year experience, you’ve become acquainted with the college very well, and have solitified a major/direction of where you want to go.  During this time, friends go abroad, do internships, seniors are graduating, and there is a new class in town.  This is the time of year where you need to start thinking about “the future.”  The term “future” can either get students in college really excited, or in my case, make a run for their money (even though we’re paying for our own schooling).  I too have to begin thinking about the real world and decide what I want to do.  I need to do an internship for my major (it’s a requirement) in the summer, completing 400 hours.  This presents a few issues: 1. I may not be able to become a Peer Mentor again (which is my second favorite time of the year), and 2.  I may not be able to work as a Summer Ambassador for Admissions again.  Nevertheless, it has to be done, so we’ll see what happens.

The other thing I’ve been thinking about is dancing.  I know this sounds a little weird, but I’ve been beginning to understand why I love it so much.  I was talking to a new friend of mine, Jess, on the top of the Hill at Donahue, overlooking all of Stonehill College.  There, we had a great “life chat” so -to-speak about passions.  Jess’ passion revolves around riding, and her horse, Indy (which by the way is a beautiful horse).  I revealed to her that my passion, I think, was dancing.  When Jess began to explain her passion for riding and the love of her horse, it really opened my eyes to why I love dancing.  When you interact with a horse, whether it’s riding or simply taking care of them, the horse feels what the person feels.  If one approaches a horse very timidly, the horse will become timid.  Jess described when she rides Indy: if she feels nervous before a jump, for example, Indy will feel that, and will become nervous, which is not good in any situation.   The connection that Jess has for Indy is the same connection that I have when I dance.  When I hear a song, I feel something, and I display what I’m feeling through dancing.  If I do not become one with the music, and hit the moves when I’m supposed to, everything is out of sync.  To me, dancing is a form of expression, a way of life that everyone can appeal to, no matter what age, sex, or background.  When Jess rides, she feels right in sync with where she is and how she feels.  When I dance, I feel my body aligned, focused, and excited.  The feelings that Jess and I feel with our passions is something I hope everyone else has the opportunity to feel.

Passion is a beautiful thing.  It allows you be free in a way, and only you can feel that way.   If I can offer one bit of advice:  If you have a passion, keep it, because this life that we live is more beautiful than evil, and we need to start believing it.  We only get one shot, so live it to the fullest, with no regrets, with truth, and with passion.

As finals approach, it’s crunch time to make one final impression on the classes I’ve taken.  This is a very stressful time for all us here at Stonehill, for the simple reason that we all want to get home, break, and get ready for the new year!

(Side Note: They are coming out with “Michael Jackson: The Experience” video game, and you all should check it out, it’s insane!)

…That’s all I have for now. Stay tuned for the ending of Fall semester 2010, as I get ready for Christmas and New Years!

Until next time,

Peace and Love

outwit outdance outromance: MR. STONEHILL 2010!

Hey folks!

This past weekend, the Stonehill community witnessed an event they’ll never forget.  Twelve of Stonehill’s finest put on a show of monumental proportions.  My friends (and brothers) Matt Gorman, Mark White, Mark Kudlate, Jay Ardizzoni, Zakh Flynn, Will Fisher, Asad Shahid, Tim Rose, Jeff Leonard, Tracy Denholm, Brendan Doyle, and myself competed for the prestigious Mr. Stonehill crown.  Some of the features of the show included a “GTL” video before the swimsuit competition, opening and closing dances, return of past Mr. Stonehill contestants, single ladies, the circle of life, Justin Timberlake and…the guy from the Old Spice commercials?  Swimsuits, talents, formal wears all blazed the stage, with beautiful escorts and 4 awesome hosts: Devin Mauch, Keith Segreto, Melanie Kesler, and Mike Cotrone.

At the end of the night, results were as follows:

People’s Choice: Randy Jose

Mr. Congeniality: Jay Ardizzoni

Best Swimsuit: Mark Kudlate

Best Talent: co-winners Tim Rose and Randy Jose

Best Formal Wear: Tracy Denholm

Runner Up: co-winners Jay Ardizzoni and Jeff Leonard

Mr. Stonehill 2010: Matt Gorman

I gotta say, I didn’t think any year could have topped last year’s Mr. Stonehill.  At last year’s event, I did a tribute to Michael Jackson, and got a standing ovation because of it, as well as Best Talent 2009.  I honestly thought it couldn’t get any better.  This year: completely over the top, best year of Mr. Stonehill to date.  All the guys were amazing during the production and final product of Mr. Stonehill.  Brendan’s talent (singing “Circle of Life” from The Lion King) was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life.  Tracy’s Old Spice commercial was hysterical.  Jeff’s stand-up comedy was hilarious to say the least.  Not gonna lie, I did dress up as Snookie from the Jersey Shore (complete with bikini and all), and….never again. Zakh and Mark White’s talents were so well thought of, major props to them.  Asad is amazing at the drums, and Tim Rose is one clever guy.  Will’s talent saw the return of the fight, and he and Sam Navarro tore it up.  Jay dazzled us with his impressive singing skills to “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias, and Mark Kudlate is a champ at eating a pint of ice-cream in under a minute (yes, under a minute).

This year, I was Snookie for my swimsuit,  and did a Justin Timberlake Medley for my talent.  Tuxedos by Merian provided all the tuxes for the show, so a big Thank You to John Merian (Stonehill alum) and his company for the tuxes.

To be able to win Best Talent (w/Tim this year) for the 3rd year in a row is amazing.  I never thought I could actually do it (especially this year with all these talented men on stage with me).  Chris Borelli is the man that helped me with my talent, and performed with me on stage.  He’s a terrific dancer, and I can’t wait to see what we can do in the future (stay tuned for that!)  The biggest shock, for me, was winning People’s Choice.  That I did not expect, and I want to thank the Stonehill community for voting for me!

Mr. Stonehill is a family, and you create such close relationships with the guys, with the committee and with the hosts.  The show was such a success, in fact, there was almost 2,000 people there to witness it.

I want to take some time to thank the committee, especially Jill Maffeo, who put this show together, and to the hosts, and of course the guys: I love you boys!  Most importantly, I want to thank those who came out to see the show.  It is because of YOU that this was possible.

Aside from Mr. Stonehill, here are some other updates:

1. BLINGO was a HUGE success this year.  Now unfortunately I couldn’t be at the event due to Mr. Stonehill rehearsal but the class committee informed  me that there were so many people there, every table in commons A was filled, and people were sitting in the aisle, at the entrance, everywhere!

2. I am currently working with Chris to officially create a dance crew that we named “Aenigma”, so keep an eye out for that.

3. Academics is o.k.  I had a midterm today in Intro to Gerontology.  It wasn’t too bad, as long as you know your stuff.  I recommend anybody to take that class w/ Professor Dahlin.  It’s a great course.

That’s all I have for now,

Until next time….

Peace and Love.
