The SGA E-Board and Student Senate are excited to continue efforts to bring the It’s on Us White House initiative back to campus this year. We were excited with the positive feedback we received from tabling at Fresh Check Day earlier this semester and around the commons for a week mid-semester.
Looking towards the last few weeks of the fall semester, we will be inviting the student body to participate in the It’s On Us Photo Campaign. From December 7th-9th during Lunch and Dinner Hours (11:30-2:00 and 5:00-6:30), E-Board members and Senators will be tabling across from the mailboxes. There, students, faculty and staff will be able to take their picture with a white board where they can write how they support the campaign. Examples include- I will not be a passive bystander, Someone I care about was sexually assaulted, I’m a survivor of sexual assault, or simply It’s On US.
We look forward to getting student participation in this photo campaign as we work towards creating an It’s On Us Community Collage to move throughout campus during the spring semester. This collage will be revealed at an event early in the Spring semester.
We invite you to stop by our tables December 7th, 8th, and 9th!
